One of the most important traits every Christian should have in their character is the trait of being thankful.
Why? Because the God of ALL creation that has brought into existence everything we have and see, including over eight billion souls, STILL has time, and still cares for YOU: your feelings, your hurts, your concerns, worries and fears.
Additionally, He cares for your refreshing and renewal, your blessings, your peace and joy.
He deserves your thankfulness because of who He is, and how He loves you, your family, your friends, and how He cares for even the smallest details in your life.
