Romantic love is a beautiful feeling. Companionship with one special person for a lifetime is the desire of many.

Whether it is during your early dating days, engagement, or even marriage, if you find yourself confronted with a breakup, the following verses are for you.
Grieve, yes, but don’t fall into a despair that causes you to feel like God has forgotten or forsaken you. Trust Him for His leading. Let Him be your Comforter while He is ordering your steps for the future.

1. Jesus invites you to come and find rest to your soul.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28 – 11:30)

3. God wants to heal your broken heart.
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.” (Psalms 147:3- 147:5)
4. Nothing can separate you from His love.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38)

10. He wants you to be kind to those who hurt you.
